My daughter is 10 and we have the standard dining plan. She is not a big eater, will she be able to order off kids menu even though she is on the Adult plan?

Hello, Anthony!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan, but I suspect when my daughter turns 10 and is considered an "adult" on the plan, I will have the same challenge.  It's hard to give you a clear answer because it does vary based on where you dine.  Requests like this are up to each individual restaurant, however, I know a lot of people who have never had a problem ordering something off of the kids menu.  I also know that sometimes places have upped the portions a little bit for the older kids.  If there is something on the adult menu she thinks she might like, you can also ask for some modifications like the sauce on the side or french fries instead of the traditional side item.  It's been my experience that Disney restaurants are extremely accommodating to their Guests and want to make you happy.

I hope this helps ease your mind a little bit!  I am sure you will be able to find something on the menu to make her happy.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
