Hi! My daughter will be spending her 2nd birthday with Mickey & Friends in less then 50 days! Would a baby jogger stroller be ok to transport back and forth to the parks with resort transportation or should we bring an umbrella stroller? Thanks :)

    Hi Amanda,

I'm so excited to be able to help you get ready for your quickly approaching trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I have found that when touring the theme parks, it is very important to have a stroller that is comfortable for everyone. We have used both a jogging stroller and a smaller stroller for our trips and we have found that we are happier with our jogging stroller for many reasons. You will accumulate many miles in the parks pushing your little princess, so it is important to have a stroller that pushes and turns easily. I also find my cupholders invaluable as they hold my Starbucks latte in the morning and a cool drink in the afternoon! Most importantly for my little guys, when they start to get tired I can recline their seats back, pull their sun shade down and they can take a nap right in the park. My husband and I can us that adult time to do some Mickey shopping, have a relaxing meal or use Rider Switch to enjoy a "big person" ride!

We haven't had any problems using resort transportation with our jogging stroller. If you are using the monorail, you can push your stroller right on the monorail, lock it, and ride to the park. There is no need to take your daughter out of either a jogging stroller or an umbrella stroller. When you are utilizing bus transportation or water transportation, you will need to take your daughter out of your stroller and fold it for the trip. This is a little more cumbersome with a jogging stroller, but our family has found that the added comfort we all have during the day makes the extra effort on the bus well worth it.

I would love to help you with any other questions you have as your trip gets closer! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
