Welcome to planDisney, Rebecca, and feliz cumpleaños to your daughter! I celebrated my 18th birthday at Disney World back in 2008, and it absolutely ruled. I have some tips and suggestions that will help ensure your daughter's 19th birthday at The Most Magical Place on Earth is the best one yet! Let's throw the confetti, blow out the candles, and get to the answer.
First, you can send a gift or package ahead of time for your daughter to pick up from the front desk at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort using the resort's
Mail Services. Consider shopping for something fun & festive from the
Disney Store like a new pair of ears or a MagicBand+, or pack up a gift from home and send it to the address on the hotel's information page. You'll want to make sure it's addressed to "Guest (your daughter's name)" and includes the arrival date. There will be a $6 receiving fee for the package (subject to change), but imagine the surprise and happiness she'll feel when she arrives and opens it up!
Another option is to surprise her with a birthday gift from
Magical Floral and Gifts. They offer a wide variety of balloons, flowers, and treats in different birthday packages, and they deliver right to the resort hotel front desk.
Is your daughter a foodie? Coronado Springs has excellent dining, and you could
purchase an eGift Card online and send it right to her email. Include a message that says dinner at
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood or happy hour snacks and sips from
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago is on you!
Finally, remind her to pick up her
Happy Birthday button from the front desk of the hotel. This complimentary offering is a great way to let Cast Members and fellow guests know you're celebrating something special.
I am wishing your daughter a fabulous birthday and a fun-filled vacation in Disney World. She's going to have an incredible time with her friends, and the pixie dust you choose to send will certainly plus up her trip, Rebecca! Please visit us again for more planning tips, advice, and suggestions.
Stay magical,
Scott
