My daughter is special needs She has had surgery and per her physician, isn’t allowed to ride roller coasters or anything that jerks to hard She can ride a child’s roller coaster - that has small drops What rides should be avoided

    Hi Tracey,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I love how Disney takes care of guests of all abilities.  There are so many attractions your daughter can experience while you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Walt Disney World Resort has provided Guides for Guests with Disabilities for all four theme parks; the attractions marked with a red triangle are those that you may want to research further prior to boarding.  These attractions are generally thrill rides that have drops and sharp turns that some folks may not enjoy.  I would use caution with these attractions; you may want to ride first if possible to see if these are something your daughter can tolerate with her recent procedure.

Tracey, please stop by and see us again with any additional questions about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Florida

I’ve grown up in Central Florida and have been visiting Disney Parks for over 30 years. Now that I’m a mom myself of a blended family with four kids, I love sharing Disney’s year-round special events with my family. Some of our favorite events are the Flower and Garden Festival, Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Let me help you plan something extraordinary for your next Disney Parks vacation! Learn More About Amy
