Well hello there, Maria. Welcome to planDisney. It's so nice that you found your way to us!
I hope you know that you are living proof that mothers are just the absolute best. While I love the superhero stories of
Marvel, they've got nothing on the superpowers of mothers and what they will do to make their children's lives special. I hope that your December trip with your daughter is phenomenal, magical, and everything you both want it to be.
At this time, golf carts are not allowed in the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are certain resorts, such as
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, where you can use your
golf cart to get around. Just keep in mind that beginning June 1, 2024, Guests bringing their own golf cart must be prepared to present proof of insurance upon check-in and sign an agreement and waiver.
To help assist Guests with mobility,
wheelchair and ECV rentals are available at the theme parks,
water parks, and
Disney Springs (subject to availability). You can also bring your own wheelchair or ECV as long as they follow the guidelines outlined in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. You'll also want to check out the recently updated
Accessibility page on the website which outlines all of the accommodations and services available to Guests who need them to access the magic at the resort. It's quite impressive!
Since you are visiting during the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, you'll want to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog leading up to your vacation for any and all announcements related to the
holiday season at the resort. While we don't yet know what will be available this year, there are usually some delicious treats,
stunning decor, special parties like
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and just a sense of holiday magic throughout every inch of the resort!
Maria, I hope you have the best time on your vacation with your daughter. Enjoy every moment!
If you have any other questions,
I'm here for you.
Believe you can, then you will,
Matt
