My daughter, son in law and grandchildren are planning a trip to Disney World in 2018. We are thinking of staying at Art of Animation. Are there connecting rooms at that hotel?

    Hi Bonnie,

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is my family's favorite in the Disney Value Resort hotel category because of its whimsical theming and larger-than-life sketches of popular animated Disney characters.

You might be happy to hEAR that there are several connecting Standard Rooms in The Little Mermaid section at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The connecting Standard Rooms there have a door inside so that when it's opened, you are able to walk between the two rooms without having to go into the hallway. Standard Rooms in The Little Mermaid section can sleep a maximum of 4 Adults, plus one infant under 3 in a crib. If you are looking to reserve these accommodations, be sure to contact Disney and request these arrangements. Do specify you are looking to book "connecting" rooms with a door between them. However, please keep in mind room requests are never guaranteed.

Did You Know? Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort can sleep up to 6 adults! Each Family Suite will have 1 queen-bed, 1 double-size convertible TableBed and 1 double-size sleeper sofa. So families have plenty of room to spread around. The Finding Nemo section is absolutely out of this "Big Blue World!", and only steps from the largest resort pool on Disney property. The Cars section will have you feeling as if you were in Radiator Springs! Rafiki welcomes guests to The Lion King section. You will see Mufasa surveying his kingdom atop Pride Rock there too.

Wishing your family a most memorable visit to the place where The Magic is Endless!
