Hi there. My daughter is over 48" with shoes and just under 48" without shoes. Will she be measured with shoes in the main parks and without shoes in the water parks? Thanks!

    Hi there Jon!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  As a mom of four children myself, I have watched each child meet that exciting milestone of reaching the 48 inch mark during a Walt Disney World vacation.

The answer to your question is yes. My children have never been asked to remove their shoes when being measured for a particular attraction in the theme parks. During one of our previous trips, my son was able to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney's Hollywood Studios due to having tennis shoes on; however, he didn't quite meet the minimum height requirement of 48 inches to ride Summit Plummet at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park since he wasn't wearing shoes.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Jon!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
