Welcome to planDisney Latrice, and thanks so much for your question! It sounds like you're getting everything organized for your upcoming trip, how exciting! Sharing plans with your daughter is a great way to build excitement and stay connected throughout your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort.
At this time, guests must be at least 13 years old to create their own
My Disney Experience account. Since your daughter is 11, she’s not yet eligible to manage her own account. Instead, parents or guardians can create and manage a profile for a child under 13 through their own account using the
Family & Friends feature. This allows you to include her in all your plans, such as park reservations, dining, and Lightning Lane selections.
There’s no upper age limit for managed profiles, so you can continue managing her plans in your account until she’s ready for her own. While the
Play Disney Parks app is a fun addition for younger guests, it doesn't link to My Disney Experience plans in the same way a full account does. Once she turns 13, you can help her create her own account and connect it to yours so she can view and manage her plans independently.
Latrice, I hope this helps you get everything set for a smooth and magical vacation! If you have any further questions, feel free to
reach out to me directly and I will be happy to assist. Wishing you and your family a pixie dusted day and an unforgettable time at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
