Hello, Rebecca! Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.
The Disneyland Resort has many resources available to ensure that all Guests of differing abilities can have a magical time at the parks. If your daughter is unable to wait in a traditional queue, you can inquire about
Disability Access Service when you arrive at the parks. Simply visit either City Hall at Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce at Disney California Adventure Park and a Cast Member will happily go over all the options with you.
Before you visit, check out the
Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities and the
Attraction Details for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities. These offer a wealth of information and resources for touring the parks and the attraction guide clearly describes which sensory elements are present on each attraction. Some attractions even offer a separate experience for those with disabilities. For instance,
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage has a special room with a high-definition video version of the attraction for those that cannot walk down the stairs into the submarine or for those who might struggle with the tight quarters and dark surroundings of the attraction.
Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any future questions as we love helping guests plan magical vacations!
