Hi Heidi! Happy New Year!
I love that you're going to support your daughter! Completing the
Disney Fairy Tale Challenge is a big accomplishment and I know she will love having you there to cheer her on and celebrate.
For the 10K, you will want to take one of the runDisney transportation buses from your Walt Disney World Resort. Generally, the buses run from 3:00 - 5:00 a.m. You wouldn't have to take one as early as her, but you will want to get on one before they stop running. There are no spectating areas along the 10K route, so the finish line is your best bet to see her.
For the half marathon, you could either take one of the early runDisney buses, or wait until the normal
Walt Disney World buses begin running from the resorts to Epcot. It really depends on what time she thinks she will finish. You can stop by the front desk to find out what time those buses begin running, but it's usually about forty-five minutes to one hour prior to the park's opening.
There is a
spectator tab on the Princess Half Marathon website with some more information for you. There will also be an official event guide sent out about two weeks prior to the event with exact bus times and locations. Your daughter should receive a link to that guide via email.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions leading up to her races.
