    My daughter is running the Marathon on January 8, 2017. My husband, son and I will be there to support her. Do we need to get the ChEAR badge in order to see her at the finish line?

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    That is great that your whole family is coming to watch your daughter!  I know it will mean the world to her to see you cheering her on to the finish.

    You do not have to purchase the ChEAR Squad packages to view her on the course or at the finish. ChEAR Squad members will have reserved seating options, but there will be plenty of space for you guys, too.

    I suggest looking at the SPECTATORS tab on the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend website. It will give you some great ideas. There will also be an Official Event Guide emailed to participants a few weeks before the race with more instructions for spectator viewing.
