Hey there Maria Isabel,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be celebrating your daughter's birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth - I'm sure your trip will be filled with lots of new magical memories together.
To enter one of the parks of the Disneyland Resort, Guests 3 years and older do need a ticket. There is currently a really great
Kids' Summer Ticket Offer for visits between May 22 through September 7, 2026 that might be worth considering. My family and I are taking advantage of this special offer for a visit over summer as well. Depending on when you end up deciding to visit, make sure to double check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to ensure there are park reservations for whichever ticket type you're interested in purchasing! I know some of those summer dates have already booked up specifically for the Kids' Summer Ticket Offer.
As far as purchasing tickets at the door, you technically can but it will be subject to availability and park capacity for the day. There have been visits where I have noticed that park reservations have been filled up for the day, so my recommendation would be to
pre-purchase your tickets so you can also make your park reservations and ensure you'll be able to visit the parks on the days you're planning for!
When you visit to celebrate your little one's big day, make sure to grab a
complimentary birthday button - available at most retail checkout kiosks around the resort - so she can be celebrated throughout your visit.
Lastly, you'll also likely want to check out the new
Bluey's Best Day Ever! show at Fantasyland Theatre, which recently opened, and then enjoy some Bluey-inspired food and beverage options at the Troubadour Tavern just outside the theatre.
Thanks again for your question, Maria Isabel! I hope your little one feels celebrated and that you all have a great visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
