My daughter reserved 4 rooms at a Disney World resort. She received the confirmation which lists all of the guests with a reservation number. When I link my reservation to the app, do I use her name or my name with my reservation number?

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question Pat. This sounds like it’s going to be an exciting time with a bunch of family members. There are so many fun things happening during your stay.

Four rooms means a whole lot of magical memories are going to be had. And you have to be getting ready soon. We are just a few weeks away and packing would have commenced for my family. A few helpful items that I pack that not a lot of people bring with them are resealable storage bags. You can use these for leftover meals and snacks, wet clothes, keeping important things from getting wet. Oh yeah, and those giant lollipops my kids always want from Main Street Confectionary. Always bring packable ponchos or rain jackets. Florida loves to have impromptu rain storms, and go right back to sunshine. And if you don’t feel like carrying everything, you can always rent a locker. These are available at the entrance of all four parks.

The My Disney Experience App is one of my favorite planning tools. This is where you can add your confirmation number so that your plans are listed. What you will do is open your app and tap on the three stacked lines all the way to the right. You will then scroll down to hotel reservations. There will be a slot just below “resort reservation” to enter your confirmation number, as well as the last name of the party. The last name is typically under whomever booked the reservations. So I would use your daughter’s. If for some reason you have issues, you can always call for assistance

If you are visiting EPCOT, you should definitely check out the International Festival of the Arts, this festival has so many great artists inspired by Disney. There are one-of-a-kind pieces on display for purchase as well as postcards and everything in between. I always check the walkways leading up to world showcase where the chalk art is usually displayed. For me this is just amazing that right on the ground are works of art.

I hope this vacation is an awesome one, and that this information helps you link your reservation. Stop by planDisney.com anytime and someone will be happy to help.

    Have a magical stay,
