My daughter and I have reservations for the Spirit of Aloha, the 5:15 pm show. Are we allowed to go see the Grand Floridian hotel, and see wishes from the poly before leaving for the evening? Would there be an issue with parking to long at the poly?

Hi Jeanne! It sounds like you are planning a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation with your daughter.

The Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian resort will be a fun dining experience for you both. My absolute favorite part is the knife and fire performer who keeps me spell bound during each visit. You will be allowed to park at the Polynesian Resort since you do have a dining reservation for that evening. If you find you have time I suggest you take the monorail and head to the Grand Floridian Resort which is the next stop to look around and see if this is a resort you might like to enjoy on a future visit. The lobby is gorgeous and I love listening to the pianist and orchestra in the evenings.

To return to the Polynesian Resort you can hop on the monorail which will take you all the way around the Seven Seas Lagoon stopping at the Magic Kingdom, Contemporary Resort, and Transportation and Ticket Center before returning you back to the Polynesian. Before retrieving your car you can head down to the beach area where you can enjoy the Magic Kingdom's Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. This does offer a good view and the music is piped in so next to being in the park itself this is a nice place to watch. Your dining reservation offers some extra perks for you that evening so enjoy all you can do!
