    My daughter and I are regular Disney half marathoners. We want to register for the Wine and Dine Marathon. What is the best hotel location with easy access to the marathon, and what are the dates of the International Food and Wine Festival 2015?

    Hello, Karen! 

    I love hearing from fellow runDisney enthusiasts! I hope you are looking forward to the 2015 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon. And don't forget to mark your calendar, registration opens to the public on March 17th. 

    Though travel details and host hotel information for next year's race have not yet been released, in my opinion, staying at an Epcot® Area Resort is always the most convenient when participating in the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon. 

    The starting line is at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, so no matter where you stay, you will need to take a bus to access this area. However, the finish line and After Party are located at Epcot®, making an Epcot® Area Resort super easy to walk back to when you're done running and partying. With the International Gateway Entrance open to runners & spectators, the convenience is unmatched! 

    But book early! With the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival presented by Chase® running from September 25th - November 16th, 2015, these resorts will be the first to book! Here is a list of resort hotels that meet this criteria. 

    • Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts 
    • Disney's BoradWalk Inn & Villas 
    • The Swan & Dolphin Resorts 

     I also suggest keeping on eye on the Travel tab on the runDisney website. This is where host hotel and specially priced package information will be released as we near registration.
