My daughter registered for DAS. Do I need to renew every time we have a reservation. We have the inspire key. I saw that it expires 60 days so does that mean she can use it without registration for 60 days if we have reservations? Or every time renew?

    Hi there, Estrella,

We have a similar situation with our Disneyland Resort Magic Key passes. You are correct, once a Guest registers for Disability Access Service (DAS), the registration is valid for the length of the associated theme park ticket of that Guest or 60 days, whichever is shorter. Since your Inspire Key Pass is likely valid for more than that amount of time, you can continue to use the same registration across multiple visits to the Disneyland Resort, even when you make new theme park reservations after the original DAS registration. To verify whether DAS is still active for your daughter’s pass, simply look for the Disability Access Service (DAS) tile on the ☰ feature menu of the Disneyland mobile app. If it is still present, your registration is still active.

If you anticipate that the 60-day period will expire before an upcoming visit you have planned, you may either renew the registration in person at any Guest Relations location in the theme parks or via video chat two to 30 days in advance. The DAS renewal process is the same as the original registration process. That also means that the Guest requiring the service must be present for the interview with the Cast Member. They will take that opportunity to determine if anything should be updated or changed to best accommodate the needs of each Guest over time. If your party’s composition happens to change for different visits, you will need to have that updated, though that is a simpler process if the registration is already in place. The Guest registering for DAS and up to five additional Guests (six total Guests) may be included with your party.

Tony’s Tip: If you renew a DAS registration in advance via video chat, you will have the opportunity to register for select experiences using DAS Advance Planning. Up to two DAS Advance selections can be booked for each of your upcoming park reservations. Typically, these experiences are attractions that feature Lightning Lane queues and are subject to availability. Unlike regular DAS return times booked using the self-selection tool in the Disneyland mobile app, these DAS Advance experiences are scheduled for a specific hour of the day and will expire after that hour has passed. Other than that, the procedures and rules that apply to DAS Advance return times are similar to those for redeeming regular DAS return times.

I hope you and your daughter make many magical memories as you continue to use your Magic Key passes, Estrella. If you should have any more questions about DAS, Magic Key passes, or other adventures that await you at the Disneyland Resort, I hope you’ll visit us at planDisney again soon.
