My daughter really wants to try to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom this trip (she hasn't been able to in the past because of the noise, even with ear protection). Can you suggest a good spot that is quiet than in front of the castle?

Hey Tyanne! I completely understand where your daughter is coming from. My son wasn't a fan of the loud fireworks noises for a long time. Those fireworks are beautiful, but they can be so loud, even with ear protection. I’m glad she’s feeling ready to try again this trip!

My son discovered that riding attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, The PeopleMover, or Big Thunder Mountain during the fireworks let him catch glimpses of the show without having to deal with the loud, continuous noise.

There isn't really a quiet spot inside Magic Kingdom, since the fireworks launch near the Cinderella Castle.

I'd suggest watching from a distance. Consider watching from the beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or the boat launch or the patio near Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It’s peaceful, the music is piped in at a lower volume, and you still get a lovely view across the lagoon.

I hope this helps, and I really hope she has a great experience this time!

    Toodles,
