Hi Lee Ann,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. When you arrive at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for your daughter’s Rapunzel makeover, it will be a very big day indeed!
I chatted with a Cast Member, who filled me in on the various hair options your daughter will have to choose from. Fairytale Princess features a bun with a tiara, Disney Diva is a half up/half down style with sparkling Mickey hair pins, Minnie Style is two buns styled to look like Minnie ears, and Color Star features multicolor hair strands twisted together with the princess’s own hair. You and your daughter will be shown pictures of the styles and be able to choose which one you like best.
I mentioned that you were hoping for a Rapunzel-specific style, and he had two suggestions. First, there are wigs and hair pieces there that can be purchased separately; just ask on arrival if you’d like to see those. (My two cents: be careful with wigs or anything your daughter may find hot or heavy, as it can get pretty hot in the parks, and I’d hate for her to be uncomfortable.) He also suggested asking about the Frozen package, which may feature a clip-on braid like Rapunzel’s.
Lee Ann, there will be a PhotoPass photographer on-hand to capture your daughter’s special moments. For even more magic, I highly recommend visiting Princess Fairytale Hall for a visit and photo with Rapunzel herself, and a stop at the Tangled restrooms near "it's a small world" (it sounds weird, but they are
gorgeous!) for more pictures. Be sure to ask PhotoPass photographers if there are any Rapunzel Magic Shots available for a little extra pixie dust (or, since we’re talking Tangled, a little extra magical flower dust).
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
