    My daughter is 14, and quite immature for her age. Her cousins that are 3,6, and 8 are also going on the cruise. Would it be possible for my daughter to participate in the Oceaneers club or lab with them?

    Hi Tiffanie!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to hEAR you are heading to sea with my favorite Captain – the one and only Captain Mickey!!  It appears that you are traveling with some extended family and let me tell you, that is going to be SO MUCH FUN!!

    The onboard Youth Clubs are absolutely wonderful – for kids AND adults!  The kids have a blast in there and the adults get some nice, kid-free time to explore some of the onboard adult-exclusive venues…or just enjoy a nice relaxing afternoon!  In fact, if you were to ask my boys what their most favorite part of a Disney Cruise Line vacation is, they would undoubtedly say “the Kid’s Club”!  Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line is fairly strict when it comes to age restrictions in the different onboard Youth Clubs.  The Oceaneer Club and Lab are reserved for Guests between the ages of 3 and 12 during secured programming events.  She can enjoy the Oceaneer Club and Lab during Open House hours in which Guests of all ages can enjoy and explore the different spaces.  Many times, they will even have scheduled activities and events during the Open House hours, so everyone can join in on the fun.  Your daughter can participate in the fun and exciting Edge Youth Club onboard where she will find a variety of fun activities and games suited for Guests of her similar age.  Register your Mouseketeers when you complete Online Check-In so that they will be set to go once you arrive for embarkation.

    There are so many fun activities onboard for everyone to enjoy; in fact, the biggest challenge will be fitting it all in during your time onboard!
