My daughter purchased a pull camper and is planning a trip staying at Fort Wilderness. Would it be possible to rent a cabin next to or within walking distance to her campsite & near other amenities. How many people can fit on the rental golf carts?

Hey there, Kelley! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! There’s nothing like planning a vacation to Walt Disney World! In fact, my wife, daughter, and I were out on a walk today pre-planning our next vacation!

While I’ve not had the opportunity to stay at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, staying in a cabin is absolutely on my bucket list!

Personally I’ve always found that talking with a Cast Member by phone in this scenario is always helpful as they will work their magic to get both you and your daughter as close to each other as possible as the two Resorts are near each other. Planning wise, I typically allow for a 5-7 minute walk when visiting any of the amenities at Walt Disney World. Then again, I always seem to have an extra pep in my step while on a Disney vacation!

Just in case, you cannot go wrong with renting an electric golf cart. These golf carts seat a total of four people and are equipped with windshields and headlights for night driving. It’s the perfect way to explore Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
