My daughter will be practically 3 when we visit WDW in September and I was looking for a place for her to get a pony ride on her birthday. Any suggestions?

    Hi, Daina!

I hope you are enjoying planning your September visit to Walt Disney World® Resort - it's part of the fun! I think a pony ride for your little princess is the perfect way to celebrate her birthday. This is an activity I recently enjoyed with my youngest daughter over Spring Break, so I have all the information you need on where to go to make this happen for her.

Located near Pioneer Hall in Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, you will find pony rides that cater to the littlest of guests! These precious rides are available daily from 10:00am -5:00pm and I remember it costing less $10.00 and lasting about 20 minutes or so. Such an inexpensive activity you can add to make her birthday special.

Just make sure she wears tennis shoes and an outfit she can be comfortable riding in. You, or other adult chaperone, will be the one to lead the pony around the little riding ring, so I'd wear tennis shoes as well, just to keep from getting all dusty while you guide. A Cast Member will be on hand to capture a photo for you, too.

Afterward, you may explore the stables and possibly get to see the ponies that pull Cinderella and her coach during the parades and other special events.

I hope this information is helpful, Daina! Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning and preparing for your magical vacation.
