Hi Kelley,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Wow, what a fun day for your daughter! I’m sure she’ll be so excited to be dressed up as her favorite Disney princess for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
You’re right, beginning at 4:00 p.m., you can begin going into
Magic Kingdom Park. Typically, advance reservations have about a 10 – 15 minute grace period, so you’ll have just a few minutes to get from the Park entrance to the Castle. It can be done!
Here’s my suggestion, start heading over to Magic Kingdom early that afternoon, if you’re parking at the Ticket and Transportation Center, I’d say be parked by 3:00 p.m., so you can walk to the monorail or ferry to be taken to the entrance of the Park. If you’re traveling by bus from a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, I’d say be at the bus stop by 3:00 p.m., so you can wait for the next bus to Magic Kingdom.
Transportation takes some time, so you’d most likely be at the Park around 3:30 p.m. or 3:45 p.m. At that time, if there’s a separate entrance for the Party, head over around 3:45 p.m. to see if your family can scan in. No promises here, but it’s worth the try. If not, I’d say start to queue for the entrance around 3:50 p.m.
Once you’re in, you’ll get your family’s wristbands and probably be guided over to grab your goody bags for the Party. Once you have both, head straight over to
Cinderella Castle. Final Tip: If you can’t walk through the Castle, I suggest walking to the right of the Castle by the wishing well so you’ll be closer to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique entrance. But you’ll want to “Step In Time” though to make sure you’re there as quickly as possible!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you plan for your evening in Magic Kingdom. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
