My daughter plays softball on a travel team. I'm wondering how to start the planning for something like this? I would like to keep it fun but also have them play a game or two.

    Hi Dusty!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My sons play travel soccer and a trip to ESPN Wide World of Sports is a definite must-do for us!

To begin with, you should select the event that you would be interested in attending.  I have the ESPN Wide World of Sports calendar of events filtered to softball (slow and fast pitch) at this link so you can see what's available.  There is everything from spring training to showcase tournaments. Once you have selected an event, it will have it's own page with LOTS of planning information.  There will be tabs to view the registration process, travel information and even some fundraising ideas.

Most events use a particular travel agency that will assist you with all of your plans and questions.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any questions as you begin the process.
