My daughter and I are planning a week at Shades of Green March 22-29th. How will we know when we buy our tickets that we will be able to enter any of the 4 parks? Do we have to make reservations to enter the parks?

Hi there Ann, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

I see that you'll be a guest at Shades of Green, and behalf of all of us here at planDisney, I'd like to thank your family for their service to our country.

The spring has been a busy one so far at the Walt Disney World Resort, and to manage theme park capacity, all Guests must make reservations to visit the theme parks using the Disney Park Pass System. Before purchasing tickets, you will be prompted to view the Availability Calendar. Ann, I checked for you, and at this time, Saturday and Sunday during your visit are still accepting reservations. While there is always a chance that more days will open up in case of cancelations, you might want to make contingency plans.

My family has enjoyed several resort-only "staycations" during the past year and we have found plenty to keep us occupied thanks to the amenities in the Disney Resorts Collection and activities outside the theme parks. Our favorite thing to do when we're not riding Pirates of the Caribbean or snacking around the world in EPCOT is to relax poolside at our resort, but if you prefer to be more active on vacation, you'll have options as well.

Do you and your daughter like to hit the links? Disney's Magnolia Golf Course is just steps away from Shades of Green. Now, my skills aren't quite up to par, so I myself would be more apt to take a swing at Fantasia Gardens & Miniature Golf over at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel

Unique shopping and dining opportunities abound at Disney Springs, and I can easily spend an entire day wandering the marketplace and surrounding areas. It's a lovely place to stroll after indulging in some sweet treats at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew or Gideon's Bakehouse.

If the weather cooperates and is Olaf-approved during your stay, consider visiting Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. At this time you do not need a reservation to visit Florida's only ski resort, and tickets can be purchased upon arrival.

Ann, I hope you and your daughter enjoy your vacation. As a fellow traveler from the mid-Atlantic, I love to escape to sunny Florida in March when Elsa is still putting the final touches on winter back home. Thanks again for coming by, and if there is anything else we at planDisney can do to help make this or future stays more magical, come see us again.
