Hi Kelly!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this question to us!
When I visited this past November, the weather was gorgeous. It was quite warm during the day and pleasant at night. Having said that, I dislike cold weather, so gorgeous for me are temperatures in the seventies and eighties degrees Fahrenheit. Weather can be somewhat unpredictable though. I have gone in November and it was chilly (in the sixties during the day and fifties at night). So, check the weather forecast 10 days prior to your trip and pack accordingly. When we travel in late fall or winter, we typically bring lightweight sweaters and a heavier jacket with a hat and gloves just in case.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the gang will be thrilled to meet your 2-year old! Decide if you are bringing a stroller or planning to use
Stroller Rentals. Snacks, bring the snacks. When our girls were younger, I always brought their favorite, healthy snacks. Yes, we indulged in sweet treats while there, but I wanted to avoid the sugar overloaded meltdown. Having said that, you definitely should enjoy some of the great food and beverage options at the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Be sure to check the height requirements for rides and attractions. There are several that your daughter can experience at Epcot - just review the
attractions list. And, check out the
characters and entertainment guide. When our girls were younger, they loved visiting with
Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus and taking a tour of lovely Arendelle on
Frozen Ever After.
Also, consider your resort hotel carefully. I suggest booking a
vacation package with a resort hotel in the BoardWalk area so that you can walk to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios if those will be the main parks that you visit. Being able to easily return to the resort for a mid-day nap was a must when our girls were younger. On our last visit, we stayed at Disney's BoardWalk Villas and the location was just perfect for Epcot! We also walked to Disney's Hollywood Studios and the walk was manageable. Plus, we enjoyed the dining locations on the BoardWalk. Your daughter might love the
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at
Trattoria al Forno. When we last visited, we met Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel, and Flynn Ryder. Disney's
Yacht Club and
Beach Club Resorts also have the best pool area with Stormalong Bay!
Kelly, before you arrive, check out the
Planning Guide for Parents of Preschoolers & Small Children. It provides helpful tips for travel with little ones!
I trust that this trip with your daughter will be most magical!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
