My daughter is planning a trip with her friend to visit disneyworld next year, I allowed her to go with her friend without my adultsupervision. She will be 16 but disney doesn’t allow her to book a room. Is it possible for her to stay at a disney resort?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Eric! Thanks for stopping by with your question about making a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel!

There are lots of benefits Disney Resort hotel guests can enjoy! Complimentary transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport, transportation to the theme parks and Disney Springs, MagicBands and the well-known hospitality, are all reasons why Mouseketeers of all ages love staying within the magic!

Eric, when it comes to making a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, guests have to be at least 18 years old. Parents or guardians can call (407) 939-5277 to speak with a Resort Reservation Specialist for more information on booking a reservation for underage guests. Keep in mind that guests under the age of 18 would also need at adult with a valid credit card and identification to be present during the check-in process at the Disney Resort hotel.

I hope this information is helpful to you as you are figuring out the details of your daughter’s trip. Please feel free to come back to see us anytime with any additional questions. Helping you with all the details of your next visit is our specialty!
