My daughter and I are planning to run in the Princess 5k and possibly the 10k in Feb 2017 to celebrate her college graduation and our new dedication to our health. Are the 5k medals made of foam?

    Hi Stephanie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Running with your daughter in the Princess 5K and/or 10K is a great idea.  It's the perfect way to celebrate a special event and will provide many magical memories for you both.

The 5K medals are normally made from a very durable rubber-like material, as opposed to the metal ones for the 10K and half marathon.   For many people, the 5K medals are their favorite because of all of the colors and details that are in them.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions and be sure to stop by the runDisney website for more information.
