My daughter and I are planning to run the Princess 5k next February. We are DVC members and will plan to stay at an Epcot resort. Will Disney have buses running to transport runners or do I need to rent a car? Thank you.

    Hello, Stefanie!

I'm excited to hear you are already planning for the 2016 Princess 5K! It's never too early to plan a magical runDisney-cation.

As a Disney Vacation Club Member myself, I highly recommend staying at an Epcot Area Resort for a runDisney race weekend. The location and convenience of Disney's BoardWalk Villas and Disney's Beach Club Villas make them tops on my list.

The best news of all is every resort on Walt Disney World property provides event transportation to all race activities during this royal race weekend. So regardless of where you choose to call home, even in the Epcot area, you will have dedicated bus transportation for the race and the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. No need to rent a car, let Disney do the driving.

I hope this helps as you begin planning, Stefanie! And please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any additional questions you may have.

    Happy Training!
