    My daughter and I are planning to run the Disney Princess as celebration of her graduation from PA School. What is the best way to go about planning our trip there?Lori, we are from KY as well. I graduated from UK also.

    So good to hear from a fellow Wildcat!  Especially during March, the best month of the year for Wildcat fans (well, usually!).

    Anyway, back to Disney!  This sounds perfect for you and your daughter!  The Princess race is so inspiring, and I love the mother/daughter teams.  What a great memory for you guys to make.

    You can plan two ways,  First, you should choose your resort.  You will want to book a host resort to take advantage of the runDisney buses.  The host resorts for next year's Princess are not published yet, but you can look at this year's host resorts on the Disney World Travel page to get an idea of what they will be.   To get the runner's discount, you will have to wait until the packages for next year are available (probably sometime in May) and book by calling 407-WDW-IRUN.  You will also be able to buy theme park tickets through the runDisney travel operators. 

    Alternately, if you are not familiar at all with Disney World, I recommend that you find a Certified Disney Planner.  They are trained by Disney and are free for you to use.  They can book everything for you and customize your trip (dining, tickets, etc.) by what you like.  You could Google "Disney Travel Planner" to find one close to you, or one online that you like.  They don't need to live close.  I have one that lives in Alabama that plans trips for my family and friends all the time.
