my daughter is performing with her dance troup for Magic Music Days in July. We will extend our trip so we can have a family time after the troupe days are done. How can I get the pkg to allow her to join me later and get DDP for her on extra days?

    Hi Kelly!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!  How exciting to get to see your daughter in her performances!

Disney's policy on the Disney Vacation Packages which include the Resort stays, Park tickets, and Disney Dining Plan is that you are either "all in, or all out".  In other words, your daughter would need to be included from the very beginning of the package, or left completely out of it.

Your other option is to add her onto your Resort stay only when she is able to join you, depending upon how many are staying in your room, as you will not be able to exceed the Guest limit for that room.  So, make sure you have a room large enough to include everyone in your party at the time she checks in.  You will simply need to inform the Front Desk upon her arrival and have her added to your room as a Resort Guest.  This would not include her ticket or adding her to the Disney Dining Plan.  You would have to purchase those for her separately if you have chosen not to include her as part of the package deal from the beginning.

Again, I wish you all a very wonderful time at Walt Disney World!  If you have any further questions, I am happy to answer them for you!

    SincEARly,
    Tron
