Hi Kelly!
My son has multiple food allergies, including peanuts, and we have found that Walt Disney World Resort does a fantastic job of making sure there are safe dining options for him during our vacation. In fact, they have a whole team dedicated to taking care of Guests'
Special Dietary Requests! In my experience, I have found that most restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort can easily accommodate a peanut-free diet. Both table service and quick service restaurants offer
allergy-friendly menus to help you order items that your daughter will be able to eat safely. I also recommend asking to speak with a Chef or manager to help you select safe items or answer any questions you have when you are ordering. For stands and carts, you can ask for an ingredients list for items at the cart to ensure that things like popcorn and Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars are safe.
For table service locations, be sure that you include your daughter's allergy in your reservation either when you make your reservation online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. When you arrive at your reservation, your server will note your allergy and you will be able to speak to the Chef to help you determine safe options for your little princess! In my experience, the Chefs have done a wonderful job accommodating my son's allergies and making sure he has a safe and tasty meal with the rest of our family!
Be sure to check out
Snacks With Character during your trip as they have many allergy-friendly options, such as trail mix and chocolate bars! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
