Welcome aboard, Glendadel! We appreciate you dropping by planDisney with your question.
You’re only a month away from your Disney Cruise Line vacation! I’m so excited for you! I can’t wait for your family to experience the imaginative youth spaces, delicious food, and beautiful
Bahamian ports of call. It’s always a good idea to clarify that your travel documents are shipshape before embarkation. I’m happy to help.
If you depart from a U.S. port and return to the same U.S. port, passports are not required for U.S. citizens. Your daughter can either present an original U.S. Passport OR an original or copy of a state-issued birth certificate. All documents must be valid for the entire length of the voyage. I always recommend checking the
Passport and Travel Documentation page on the Disney Cruise Line website for the most up-to-date information.
I hope this is welcome news as you plan for your upcoming voyage. Now all that’s left is to pack those suitcases! Disney Cruise Line has a helpful
packing guide on their website. One thing you won’t need to bring with you is beach towels. For Port Adventures that include water activities, you are welcome to take the ship’s pool towels with you. Make sure you bring them back after your day of fun so they can be washed and returned to use. I hope this saves some room in your suitcase for a few more souvenirs!
If you have any other questions as your voyage draws near, please sail our way again. My pals and I are delighted to help!
SEAS the adventure!
