Well hello Sandra! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. That's so exciting to hear that you will be visiting Disneyland Resort with your daughter and her dance team.
I am happy to let you know that upgrading a ticket is possible. To upgrade or exchange a ticket, you must do it at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths. This can be tricky since you would also need to make sure there is availability to make the
Theme Park Ticket Reservation. Also, from what I have been told if you would upgrade your ticket when you arrive your current reservations would be cancelled on that ticket. So, it is suggested that you upgrade the ticket at the end of the second day so you do not lose reservations, especially if there isn't availability for that day. In that case, I would book your reservations to match what your daughter has currently and then change them later if there is still availabilty once you've upgraded your ticket. If you have further questions about upgrading your ticket you can always call
Ticket Services and speak with a Cast Member.
While you are planning, be sure to look into
Disney Genie+ service. This allows you to make selections for the Lightning Lane of participating attractions, which means skipping the standby line. This is a great way to maximize your time in the parks. It also gives you unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads for that day giving you plenty of pictures of your daughter and her dance group, as well as the two of you for her memory books.
Sandra, thanks again for stopping by planDisney. Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with. See ya real soon!
