Hi there, April!
You’re sailing during my favorite time of year!
Very Merrytime Cruises are packed full of holly, jolly fun – even the big guy from the North Pole makes a visit. I’m happy to help you spread a little holiday cheer to your daughter.
Port Adventures are paid for once onboard the ship. They will be charged to your onboard account. However, you can surprise your daughter with an onboard gift card to cover the cost. I just did this for my mother-in-law on our last sailing. On the
Disney Cruise Line website, head to Already Booked and select “Onboard Gifts.” You’ll find Onboard Credit listed under Shop by Category. You can even customize a gift message. Upon embarkation, she’ll receive your special note in her stateroom.
You can
reserve Port Adventures, beverage tastings, adult-exclusive dining, nursery time, and spa services once your booking window opens. Your booking window is based on your Castaway Club status. First-time cruisers can begin booking activities 75 days before sailing. In the meantime, you can filter
Port Adventures by destination on the Disney Cruise Line website to get an idea of what will be offered.
April, you can also surprise your daughter with a special holiday décor package from Onboard Gifts. Your stateroom host, acting like one of Santa’s helpers, will decorate your stateroom with your selected gift. Last year there were Christmas-themed treats, a mini-Christmas tree, and a cozy blanket and pillow from which to choose. Keep in mind that this year’s onboard holiday gifts haven’t been announced yet and could change from previous years. I recommend checking the site in the fall to see what’s available for your sailing.
I wish you the merriest time planning your cruise. Please send any additional questions our way. We are happy to help untangle any tinsel so that your adventure at sea is merry and bright!
SEAS the adventure!
