Hi there, Scarlett!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation will be here so soon! I am so excited for you and your family and all the fun that you will have with Captain Mickey! If you have not yet downloaded the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, make sure you do that before your voyage. It will be more than useful onboard when you want to know ALL the things going on onboard! It also has my favorite feature, a chat feature that makes keeping up with other Guests easy! And, you do not need an internet package to use it…you will just connect to the DCL-GUEST network onboard and you will be ready to go!
While the Navigator app does not require an internet package, if you do need to access internet, you will need to purchase an internet package to access the internet. There is not a business center onboard so you will need to bring a laptop to use onboard to access. There are different
internet packages that you can purchase based on MB downloaded and current pricing ranges from $19 for a small package to $89 for a large package. When you arrive onboard, there will be information in the Voyage Navigator that you receive at check-in and you will also find printed information in your stateroom about how to access the internet. There is also a Connect@Sea representative that can help you in setting up or guide you in deciding which package will be best suited for your needs during your time onboard. Also, check the back of that Voyage Navigator because there is usually a special for free 50MB of internet if you sign up by midnight on embarkation day!
No one wants to work (or take classes) while on vacation, but I really cannot think of a better place to take care of some business! I certainly would rather be doing it on the “Mickey Boat” than at home!
Wishing you a magical adventure at sea filled with many memorable moments!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
