Hi All! My daughter has no idea we are surprising her for her 5th bday with this trip on 3/13-3/18. Travel agent informed the resort about our celebration. Is there anything else I can do to ensure this will be a magical trip for her?

    Hi, Ebony!

What a fantastic way to celebrate your little princess's 5th birthday! A trip to Walt Disney World!

You'll probably be given a complimentary Celebration Button at your resort check-in; be sure your daughter wears it, as Cast Members and Guests alike will wish her a happy birthday constantly. There is nothing like a day that's filled with good wishes from strangers to help make a celebration even more magical!

Next, consider having a Specialty Cake delivered to a Table Service meal, perhaps with her favorite character on the cake as well. There are also some great celebration surprises that you can order from Disney Floral & Gifts which can be delivered to your room, too. From subtle to spectacular, there are some really great options for you to help your little one feel like the princess she is.

We like to plan a birthday in Walt Disney World around the interests of the birthday kid, so we'll choose a park that's sure to be a favorite, and plan activities and meals which are exactly what that child loves most. Consider character meet and greets, dining options and nighttime events which are right up the birthday girl's alley, so she'll feel special the entire day.

Finally, a visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, at either Magic Kingdom or Downtown Disney, will pamper your daughter with a magical makeover from a Fairy Godmother-in-training. What an extra-special way for her to celebrate her big day!

Send more questions as you think of them, Ebony; we love to help! (And please send our very happy birthday wishes to your little one, too!)
