    My daughter needs to be rocked to sleep. Are there rocking chairs available?

    Hi Fay!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney Cruise Line makes Traveling with Little Ones so easy and fun! Your little pirate princess is going to have a blast sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey and his friends! One of my favorite parts of cruising with Disney is having the opportunity to wake up every morning and start the day off sitting on the verandah and looking out at the ocean while snuggling my son!

    When we first started taking my son on Disney Cruises, he was used to being rocked to sleep, like your daughter. Unfortunately, there aren't any rocking chairs available for Guests to use inside their staterooms. When it was time for bed while we were sailing with my son and he was just a tiny sea guppy, my husband would just hold our son in his arms and make the back and forth rocking motion while sitting in one of the chairs in our stateroom. I was happily surprised to see how well my little buccaneer slept (and still does) while cruising! I'm not sure if it's the fresh ocean air, all the fun activities during the day or the gentle rocking of the ship, but he sleeps so soundly every night of our voyage!
