Our daughter (with MS) is unable to walk for extended periods of time. We will rent a wheelchair, but do we need "proof" of her physical disability?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Wendy.

Cast Members will not require proof of your daughter's physical disability in order for you to rent a wheelchair. They'll take your word for it that it's medically necessary and respect your daughter's privacy. Here is a link to more information for Guests with mobility disabilities.

I wish you and your family an unforgettable trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Wendy. Should you have further questions, please visit me on the Panel again.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
