My daughter will be 19mo at the time of our trip and will be wearing SMOs on her feet and possibly a hip brace. I did read we may be able to tag our stroller as a wheelchair? Are there certain criteria that has to be met? Do you do it at each park?

Hi Kara, and welcome to planDisney!

Your arrival date will approach before you know it, so now really is an excellent time to get the logistics worked out so that you will have an idea of what you would like to experience. I have no doubt you will create some fantastic memories with your daughter and the rest of your family at Walt Disney World Resort.

Because every circumstance is different, you must visit the Guest Relations booth outside of the theme parks. Once you explain your specific concerns, the cast member will be able to inform you of your options at that time. Please note that the stroller being used should still fit within the noted guidelines and should not be larger than 31” (79 cm) in width and 52” (132cm) in length. In addition, stroller wagons are also not permitted.

If there is a need, you can always rent a stroller from one of the theme parks, Disney Springs, or the Disney Featured Provider, ScooterBug. Scooterbug allows you to access a stroller inside and outside the theme parks and Disney Springs.

Please return and let us know how we can help you further; just let us know how we can help.

    Have a magical day!
