My daughter will be 17 mo around Halloween. We plan to go tot the magic kingdom on Nov 1 to celebrate my husbands birthday and I wondered if my daughter would enjoy the Not so scary Halloween event on 10/31? I worry she may be too young.

Hi Dina! Every age group will enjoy the park and the special event parties in different ways.  Your daughter will certainly enjoy the lights and action and the parade that evening. Many of the Fantasyland rides are open and there are special dance parties for the younger crowd in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.  My grandson especially enjoys these as some of the characters are usually there to dance with them!

This year the Halloween parade is fantastic with some new floats and characters! Everyone loves a good parade!  The fireworks are spectacular as always but younger children sometimes don't want to be too close as the noise is loud.

My suggestion to families with younger children is to arrive as early as 4pm which is the time you are allowed using the event ticket.  Plan for dinner in the park as the crowds thin out and then head to some of the rides and attractions that are age appropriate.  Stay for the parade and possibly the fireworks and then head back to the resort.  If you want to arrive at the Magic Kingdom at opening for the next day you might forgo the party so your daughter is fresh for that day.  MIckey's Not So Scary Halloween Party can be fun but it will be up to you as to how much she can handle within 24 hours!
