It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Angela! What a generous gift that your daughter got from her grandparents! A whole year of magic just waiting there for her to experience. I get excited just thinking about it!
It looks like you're headed to Walt Disney World Resort today so I will get right down to the facts. Since you're all from Florida and Florida Residents have access to some pretty great deals for
tickets and annual passes, your daughter's grandparents will need to
verify their Florida residency in order to activate the pass. It's possible that they may have done this online when they purchased the annual pass, as this is a new feature that has recently been added, so double-check and see if they've already confirmed residency by entering information from their Florida driver's license, state-issued ID, or Florida-based military ID. If they did not confirm Florida residency online when they purchased your daughter's annual pass, then the owner of the credit card who made the purchase must be there in-person to validate their Florida residency the first time your daughter enters a theme park. After that first entrance, she's good to go! She can visit the theme parks at her leisure without her grandparents needing to be there.
As I mentioned before, Florida residents have access to some pretty cool exclusive deals and offers, so
check out this page to see how you can get in on the fun with your daughter this year.
Have a magical day, Angela!
