Hi Gail,
Thanks for checking in with us at planDisney. On behalf of the entire team—and from one grateful citizen to another—please extend our heartfelt thanks to your daughter for her service. We also honor you and your family for the strength and support you provide behind the scenes. I’m proud to help you get squared away for your Disneyland adventure.
When you're traveling as a group, each member of your group can carry their ticket in their own Disney account. That means everyone can scan in individually—no need to move in formation! And make sure to review the latest
updates on the new turnstiles at Disneyland Park. It's a smooth operation, but a little recon never hurts.
Now, let’s talk tickets. If your group is using the
Disney Military Promotional Ticket, your daughter—the service member—will need to be present at the gate with her military ID. That’s your mission-critical step to verify eligibility for the promotion. If, instead, your tickets were purchased from a local military base and are standard park tickets, no ID will be required at the entrance.
If it’s been a couple of years since your last visit to the parks, here’s a tactical tip:
park reservations are still required. You can
link your tickets to your MyDisney profile and select the dates for your visit. High-traffic dates fill up fast, so I recommend locking in your plans sooner rather than later. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance. And don’t forget to check out the
2025 Disneyland event calendar—there’s a whole year of celebrations, fireworks, and magic on the horizon.
I hope this information is helpful, Gail. If you have any other questions or need help with planning, feel free to write back to me or one of my fellow panelists—we’d be happy to share more tips!
Catch you in the parks!
