    Hi my daughter and I have magic bands. We just booked a new trip for April 2017 and it comes with the new magic bands. The park hopper tix we just bought were linked to the old bands. Can they be transferred to the new bands?

    Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!

    You should be able to use both sets of MagicBands that you have, the ones from your past trip as well as your new ones, when you visit Walt Disney World. What you need to do is be sure that you can see both sets of MagicBands in your My Disney Experience account, and that they show as "active." From the My Disney Experience drop down menu, choose the drop down selection for "MagicBands and Cards" to see the status of your MagicBands. As long as you see that both sets of MagicBands show as active, then they should both work! You should also be able to see your tickets in your My Disney Experience account. You can find these by choosing "My Reservations and Tickets" from the drop down menu. My family likes to have more than once MagicBand active at a time, because then we can choose the one that best matches our outfit or mood each day. If you choose to, you can also use just one set of MagicBands for your trip.
