There's nothing like a mother-daughter trip to

To get you both linked together in your
My Disney Experience accounts, take a look at the directions for how to
add Family & Friends in your own account. Once your new account has connected to your daughter's account, she'll be able to add you to the resort reservation she created. Your name may already be in that reservation, but it's possible that it's not the real you--not the account you've created. You can tell by the checking the profile character you chose for your account. If your daughter sees a blue Mickey profile for you in the resort reservation instead of your chosen character, it's not linked to you.
When I have issues with guests in my Family & Friends List not appearing properly in my resort reservations, I give the brilliant Cast Members at the
Help Center a call. They can see your reservation, remove the imposter account, then have you added to that reservation using your real account. Because your daughter made the reservation, I'd have her call to do just that. Easy peasy!
Once you are properly on the reservation, you'll be able to share all of your magical plans which, of course, include all of the conveniences accessible in your
My Disney Experience app. Want to unlock your resort room door without searching for where you tucked the key? The app can do that for you. Heading to the bus stop and wonder if you have time to stop at the resort shop first? Live bus arrival times are there as well. Have a hankering for a snack after dinner?
