My daughter loves Stitch. She'll be almost 5 for our trip. Would Stitch's Great Escape be too scary for her? If we do try it and she gets scared, would we be able to leave?

    Hi, Lora!

My kids love Stitch's Great Escape.  Stitch is his usual silly self, misbehaving and causing trouble in this attraction!

What makes this attraction a bit scary is the darkness.  There are times of complete darkness, and the seats have some special effects built in that might be a bit intense.   Because of the darkness and the way you are secured in your seat, you would not be able to leave if your daughter gets frightened.  If you have any doubts about it, I would probably skip it until your princess is a bit older.  Or, if you are traveling with another adult, perhaps one of you can go check it out and see what you think.  The lines are usually not too long for this attraction.

The good news is that you can often find Stitch in Tomorrowland for a character Meet and Greet so your daughter will get a chance to meet silly Experiment 626!  Check your Times Guide for times and locations.   And, of course, there is plenty of Stitch merchandise for purchase in Tomorrowland.  I hope your daughter has a great vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
