Hey, Candace!
So glad to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this stellar question.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is the only place to experience
Star Wars and meet characters from both the light and dark sides.
I would begin at Animation Courtyard in front of Star Wars Launch Bay. You will find First Order Stormtroopers patrolling and interacting with Guests. They do not sign autograph books but are willing to pose for pictures. They move around the entire area.
Inside Star Wars Launch Bay, you will meet Jawas and Stormtroopers who are available for candid photos as they mingle around. Jawas love to "trade junk" so bring a trinket. Chewbacca and Kylo Ren have private rooms with a Disney PhotoPass photographer to capture your intergalactic moments.
Even though you may not meet them, there are other characters to see including Captain Phasma who leads First Order patrols of Animation Courtyard and the end of Hollywood Boulevard. You will also see many characters in
Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away stage show such as R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Boba Fett, Captain Phasma and Kylo Ren.
Disney Dad Tip: If your padawan is ready to battle the Dark Side then arrive at the gates of Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30 minutes early including Morning Extra Magic Hours days. Sign-ups for
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple takes place at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Each of the 20 daily shows takes around 30 younglings.
Candace, may the Force be with you!
