Hello! My daughter loves Sofia the first more than anything. We are going to Disney for a day in November And I wanted to know if there is anywhere she will be able to meet Sofia and make her dreams come true?

    Hi Lydja,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Please tell your sweet daughter that I think she has great taste: Sofia the First is awesome! She’s totally the best kind of princess: brave, smart, and – most importantly – kind.

I’m sorry to say that Sofia has returned to Enchancia and is not currently greeting Guests at Walt Disney World Resort. I think there was still lots of work to do in the Secret Library, and her royal duties to the people of Enchancia, not to mention her beloved family, were calling to her. Should Sofia plan to use one of the Secret Library portals to visit Walt Disney World again, I’m sure we’d hear about it in the Disney Parks Blog, so be sure to read for the latest updates. (They’re also a great trip planning resource, and should have lots of fun news about holiday experiences and treats leading up to your November visit.)

Lydja, since your daughter loves Sofia, I wonder if she also loves Elena of Avalor? I’m not going to lie – my heart skipped a beat when we realized Sofia had the amulet of Avalor! I’m happy to report that Crown Princess Elena does meet Guests in Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom Park. I bet Elena would love to meet a fellow friend of Sofia’s, and would be happy to talk with your daughter about their adventures together.

If your daughter is a fan of other Disney Junior friends, don’t miss meeting Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, and other pals at Animation Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Another super fun option is the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine, where you can enjoy breakfast with Disney Junior favorites. If she loves princesses, I highly recommend a meal at Akershus in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion. While character appearances are always subject to change, my family has had the best interactions with characters and consider meeting Disney friends one of our favorite parts of a Walt Disney World vacation.

I hope one of these options is the perfect way for the story to come alive for your daughter. Walt Disney World Resort is the place where dreams come true, and I know your Disney day is going to be filled with magic and dreams-come-true moments. Please come back and see us if you have any further questions as you do your planning and Disney dreaming – it’s a pleasure to help plan a practically perfect visit for you and your princess.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
