My daughter loves the princesses and her fav is Ariel. What acitivities/dining can we do to maximize the princess/Ariel expereience(@ WDW)? We are going to Bibbity Bobbity Bootique, but CRT is booked for the week we are there. Any suggestions?

    Hello, Sandra!

First, I wish you the most magical family vacation to Walt Disney World! You are in for a spectacular week!

Although Cinderella's Royal Table currently has no reservations for the week you'll be in WDW, check back with Disney Dining frequently to check for cancellations. Since many Guests book their dining reservations up to 180 days in advance of check in, they sometimes don't know if those reservations will still fit into their plans as the date gets closer. Call (407) WDW-DINE or go to the online reservation page first thing in the morning, as you'll be more likely to catch one of those cancellations, should one become available.

One of our favorite character dining experiences at WDW is over in Epcot's Norway Pavilion. At Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, you'll dine with the Disney Princesses over absolutely delicious meals. Plus, if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, this restaurant uses only one Table-Service entitlement (CRT uses two.) Don't expect to see Ariel at this location, although she did grace us with her presence on our last visit! (Characters are subject to change; just have that video camera ready if Ariel IS there!)

Next, if you have a smartphone, download the free Disney Parks app, which will provide you with specific character greeting information once it detects that you're within a park. Disney Parks Blog provided some great information about this app recently. You'll love it!

Even without that great app, check your Times Guide once you enter each park. That, too, will let you know where you'll be able to find your favorite characters from day to day!

Please send additional questions as you plan your special trip! I'd love to help!
