    Hi My daughter loves to draw and unfortunately I know we are a year to late for the animation thing at Hollywood studies, but does the art of animation still offer a drawing session? If not any other suggestions?

    Hey, Crystal!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. This is so exciting! Your daughter's love of drawing could one day lead her to a job at Disney Studios. There are two places where she can ignite one little spark of inspiration.

    First, Disney's Art of Animation Resort offers Character drawing class for free at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily. This feature is advertised as a "Resort Guest only" activity but they have been allowing any Guest visiting the Resort hotel to participate. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend. It is usually held in the playroom near the front desk.

    At DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park at Disney Springs West Side, Animation Academy returns so Guests may learn how to draw a Disney character with an instructor. Classes are 30 minutes long and are held daily from noon to 9:00 p.m. Admission is required into DisneyQuest to participate.

    Disney Dad Tip: Would your daughter like a caricature of herself as a memento of her magical vacation?Caricature artists are located in a variety of places to draw your princess. My co-panelist Krista has the scoop on the location of each caricature artist.
