My daughter loves dinos so we're considering trying to get a reservation to T-Rex at Disney Springs during our trip. I'm wondering how much time we should budget for her to explore and eat a meal (or even if you can explore when having a meal)

Hey Amber and welcome back to planDisney. We love your questions because we know you are creating the practically, perfect in every way Disney adventure for your family.

T-REX is an adventure for the palate and for the young explorer. We typically budget around 90 minutes to dine and discover all the dinosaurs. While your pre-historic plate of food is being prepared that is the perfect time to check out the dinosaurs and my favorite, the aquariums, as well as, the Paleo Zone. Paleo Zone is a "must-do" and one of the most fun hands-on experiences for little ones who are curious at Disney Springs. The LEGO Store also has some fun experiences.

planDisney Pro Tip: Since you will be at Disney Springs and since your daughter has a sense of adventure, trot across the bridge over Lake Buena Vista to the Rainforest Cafe. There are some magnificent animals there as well.

Amber, I hope you get every dining reservation you want and that your Disney trip is truly enchanted. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
